Our Approach

Around 15% of the world's population do not have access to electricity - that's 1 in 7 people. A problem that is so vast in scale has no single solution - no quick fix. Instead, the approach to solving this must be long term and multi-faceted; with an appreciation for the local economy and realities faced by those that currently use kerosene at the heart of the solution. 

In GravityLight, we are aiming to to deliver a product that will have a positive impact for people living without electricity. We are committed towards building our solution in a way that is sustainable and scalable. To do this, we have focused on three key areas of our approach; development, manufacturing and distribution.
